TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track and field team travels to Birmingham, Ala., for the Conference USA Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday.

The heptathon starts at 9 a.m. on Friday, while field events start at noon and running events start at 5 p.m. on Friday. The heptathon continues on Saturday at 10 a.m., while field events start at noon and running events start at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

On the men's side, freshman Otugo Ananaba is competing in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Ananaba ran the 18th fastest time in the conference at the Wildcat Invitational on Jan. 18 with a time of 6.93 seconds and ran his fastest 200-meter dash time at Tyson Invitational on Jan. 31 with a time of 22.02 seconds.

Senior Andrew Jameson and sophomore David Anderson are competing in the 400-meter dash. Jameson has posted the 19th best time at the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1 with a time of 49.34, while Anderson's fastest time came at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 10 with a time of 53.10.

Freshman Elijah Silva and sophomore Simon Greiner are competing in the 800-meter run. Silva's time of 1:51.86 at the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1 is the third fastest time in the conference this season, while Greiner's time of 1:52.38 at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 10 is the seventh fastest time in the league.

The Golden Hurricane has four runners in the one-mile run - senior Danny Thater, Greiner, senior Brian Tabb and junior Aaron Thornburg. Thater's time of 4:06.42 set in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14 and Greiner's time of 4:07.09 also set in the Tyson Invitational are the third and fourth fastest time, respectively, in the conference this season.

Tabb's time of 4:11.78 set in the Wildcat Invitational on Jan. 18 is the eighth fastest time in the conference this season, while Thornburg's time of 4:15.62 is the 15th fastest time in the league.

The Golden Hurricane has seven runners running in the 3,000-meter run - Thater, senior Emmett Cookson, freshman Adam Palamar, freshman Adam Roderique, senior Phil Royer, Thornburg and Tabb.

Thater has posted the third best time in the conference with a time of 8:06.41 set in the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1, while Cookson's time of 8:22.31 and Palamar's time of 8:26.32 are the sixth and seventh fastest time in the league respectively. Both times were set at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15.

Roderique has posted the 16th fastest time in the league with a time of 8:36.48 at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15, while Thornburg and Tabb have not competed in the 3,000-meter run this season.

Royer, Roderique and Cookson are also competing in the 5,000-meter run and will run the event for the first time this season.

Tulsa's fastest 4x400 meter team of sophomore Isaac Sanders, Jameson, Ananaba and Silva ran the sixth fastest time in the conference with a time of 3:18.27 at the Razorback Invitational of Feb. 1.

Tulsa's distance medley relay team of Tabb, Sanders, Greiner, Silva ran the second fastest time in the league with a time of 9:49.91 at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15.

Sophomore Alex Lybarger is competing in the shot put and in the weight throw. Lybarger's best throw in the shot put was 14.65 meters, which was set in the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 14, is the seventh best throw in the conference, while his best weight throw was 16.78 meters, which was set in the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 31, is the third best in the league.

Freshman Jake Hanks is also competing in the shot put with his best throw coming in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14 with a throw of 14.43 meters, which ranks seventh in the conference.

Junior Colt Johnson is competing in the heptathlon for the second this season. Johnson posted 3,834 points in the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1, which ranks sixth in the league.

The heptathlon includes a 60-meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 60-meter hurdles and pole vault.

On the women's side, senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste, freshman Roos-Sanne Claassen and freshman Cydney Fogle are running in the 400-meter dash. Jean-Baptiste holds the fastest time 400-meter time in the conference with a 54.87 time set in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14, while Claassen ran the 12th fastest time in the league with a 56.77 in the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1, and Fogle ran a 58.92 in the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1

Senior Katherine Camp and freshman Katie Killeen are running in the 800-meter run. Camp posted the fastest time in the conference at the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1 with a time of 2:08.04, while Killeen's fastest time was 2:19.91 set in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15.

Sophomore Olivia O'Hare competes in the one-mile run and has posted the third best time in the conference at the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1 with a time of 4:50.69.

Junior Emily Dunn, junior Natasha Cockram, freshman Clara Langley, junior Janessa Dunn and O'Hare are competing in the 3,000-meter run. Emily Dunn holds the third fastest time in the conference at the Razorback Invitational on Feb. 1 with a time of 9:46.05, while Cockram holds the fifth fastest time in the league at the Razorback Invitational with a time of 9:47.29.

Langley holds the seventh fastest time in the conference as she ran a 9:52.01 at the Tyson Invitational and Janessa Dunn holds the 12th fastest time in the league as she ran a 9:59.01 at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15. O'Hare has not competed in the one-mile race this season.

Janessa Dunn, Cockram and Langley are also competing in the 5,000-meter run. Janessa Dunn holds the eighth fastest time in the conference as she ran a 17:31.84 at the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 31, while Cockram and Langley has not competed in the 5,000-meter run this season.

Tulsa's 4x400-meter relay of Claassen, Jean-Baptiste, sophomore Alex Lyons and Camp ran the third fastest time in the conference at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 3:45.02.

Tulsa's distance medley relay team of O'Hare, Fogle, Camp and Emily Dunn ran the fastest time in the league, and the second fastest time in school history, at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 11:35.26.

Freshman Elizabeth Lothamer is competing in the pentathlon as she recorded 2,736 points at the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 31, which ranks 10th in the conference.

The pentathlon includes a 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and long jump.

The Golden Hurricane finishes the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Championships from March 14-15 before hosting the Tulsa Duels on March 22 at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
