Track and Field Travels To Arkansas and California This Weekend

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track and field team travels to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Arkansas Twilight on Friday and to Palo Alto, Calif., for the Payton Jordan Invitational on Sunday.
Silva is competing in the 800-meter run and has won all three races this season with his personal-best time of 1:51.27. Thater is running in the 5,000-meter run and his personal-best time is 14:48.13, while Camp is running in the 800-meter run and her personal-best time is 2:05.21, which is the school record.
The women's 800-meter run is scheduled for 6:56 p.m., while the men's 800-meter run is scheduled for 7:14 p.m. and the men's 5,000-meter run is scheduled for 8:46 p.m.
The Arkansas Twilight field events start at 11 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and runner events start at 6 p.m. with the women's 4x100-meter relay.
On the men's side, sophomore Bryce Robinson is competing in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Robinson holds the school record in both events with a 100-meter time of 10.15 and a 200-meter time of 20.30. Freshman Otugo Ananaba is also competing in both events and his personal-best time of 10.74 in the 100 meters and 21.84 in the 200 meters. Freshman Paul Akintade is running in the 100 meters and his personal-best time is 11.23.
Senior Julian Frazier is running in the 400-meter dash and his personal-best time is 46.98, while senior Andrew Jameson, sophomore Isaac Sanders and senior Brian Tabb are competing in the 1,500-meter run. Jameson's personal-best time is 2:04.83, while Sanders' personal-best time is 1:56.38 and Tabb's personal-best time is 1:50.97.
The Golden Hurricane has three runners in the 1,500-meter run and two in the 3,000-meter run. Junior Aaron Thornburg and freshmen Nick Criser and Adam Roderique are running in the 1,500 meters, while senior Phil Royer and sophomore Jake McDonnell are running in the 3,000 meters.
Thornburg's personal-best time is 3:54.40 in the 1,500 meters, while Roderique's personal-best time is 4:07.21 and Criser is running in the event for the first time in his collegiate career. Royer's personal-best time is 8:28.40 in the 3,000 meters, while McDonnell's personal-best time is 9:00.79.
Junior Colt Johnson is competing in four events of the 110-meter hurdles, high jump, long jump and the discus throw. Johnson's personal-bests are 15.08 in the 110-meter hurdles, 1.60 meters (5-3) in the high jump, 6.62 meters (21-8.75) in the long jump and 27.15 meters (89-0.75).
Akintade is also competing in the long jump and his personal-best is 6.51 meters (21-4.25).
Sophomore Alex Lybarger is competing in the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw. Lybarger's personal-bests are 16.92 meters (55-6.25) in the shot put, 27.15 meters (89-0.75) in the discus throw and 56.34 meters (184-10) in the hammer throw.
On the women's side, Freshman Lauren Thomas is competing in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Her personal-best in the 100 meters is 12.31 and 25.44 in the 200 meters. Senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste, sophomore Alex Lyons and freshman Elizabeth Lothamer are also competing in the 200-meter dash. Baptiste's personal-best time is 24.72, while Lyons' personal-best time is 26.17 and Lothamer's personal-best time is 27.74.
The Golden Hurricane has four runners in the 1,500-meter run of juniors Brandi Krieg and Natasha Cockram and freshmen Stacie Taylor and Katie Killeen. Kreig's personal-best time is 4:33.21, while Cockram's personal-best time is 4:35.97 and Killeen's personal-best time is 4:51.53. Taylor is competing in the event for the first time in her collegiate career.
The Golden Hurricane has three runners in the 3,000-meter run of senior Josie Wilcox and freshmen Alyssa Jones and Danielle Madearis and three runners in the 400-meter hurdles of freshmen Kendall Cox, Cydney Fogle and Roos-Sanne Claassen.
Wilcox's personal-best time is 10:11.75 in the 3,000 meters, while Jones' personal-best time is 10:25.81 and Madearis is running in the event for the first time in her collegiate career. Claassen's personal-best time is 1:01.24 in the 400-meter hurdles, while Fogle's personal-best time is 1:03.63 and Cox's personal-best time is 1:05.85.
Lothamer is competing in four other events with the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, long jump and shot put. Her personal-bests are 15.73 in the 100-meter hurdles, 4.47 meters (14-8) in the long jump and 9.30 meters (30-6) in the shot put. This will be the first time in her collegiate career that she will compete in the high jump.
Junior Hartly Carlisle is competing in the discus throw and her personal-best throw is 44.75 meters (146-10).
The Golden Hurricane takes a week off before traveling to Houston, Texas for the Conference USA Championships from May 15-18.
