TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa begins its postseason traveling to Houston, Texas for the Conference USA Championships starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday.

The meet starts with the heptathlon at 1:30 p.m. and the decathlon at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

On the men's side, sophomore Bryce Robinson and freshman Otugo Ananaba are competing in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. Robinson has posted the best mark in the conference in both events with a time of 10.15 in the 100 meters and a 20.30 time in the 200 meters at the John McDonnell Invitational.

Ananaba has posted the 24th best time in the league in the 100 meters with a time of 10.74 set in the Tulsa Duels and the 35th best time in the conference with a time of 21.84 set in the John McDonnell Invitational.

Senior Julian Frazier and sophomore David Anderson are competing in the 400-meter dash. Frazier's best time this season is 46.98, which is the fifth fastest time in the league, was set at the Arkansas Spring Invitational. Anderson's best time this season is a 52.92 set at the Michael Johnson Classic.

The Golden Hurricane has four runners in the 800-meter run with freshman Elijah Silva, junior Brian Tabb, sophomore Isaac Sanders and senior Andrew Jameson. Silva has recorded the fastest time for the Hurricane with a 1:49.21 at the Arkansas Twilight, which is the second fastest time in the league. Tabb, Sanders and Jameson all posted their fastest time at the Arkansas Twilight as Tabb has posted the 22nd fastest time in the league with a time of 1:53.55, Sanders has the 27th fastest time of 1:54.95 and Jameson's fastest time is 1:56.71, which is the 35th fastest time.

Junior Aaron Thornburg and sophomore Jake McDonnell are running in the 1,500-meter run. Thornburg's best time this season is a 3:55.80 set at the Arkansas Twilight, which is the 17th fastest time in the league, while McDonnell's fastest time is 3:58.51 set in the Michael Johnson Classic, which is the 25th fastest time.

The Golden Hurricane has four runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase of junior Danny Thater, senior Emmett Cookson, Thornburg and freshman Kirk Smith and eight runners in the 5,000-meter run of Thater, senior Dennis Hodapp, McDonnell, Smith, Cookson, Tabb, freshman Adam Roderique and senior Phil Royer.

Thater has posted the second fastest time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in the league with a time of 8:59.36 at the Mt. SAC Relays, which is the third fastest time in school history, while Cookson recorded the third fastest time in the league with a time of 9:08.05, which was also set at the Mt. SAC Relays. Thornburg's best time was 10:00.30, set at the Michael Johnson Classic, which is the 21st fastest time and Smith's fastest time is 10:03.08, which is the 23rd fastest time set at the Michael Johnson Classic.

Thater recorded the fastest 5,000-meter run in the conference with a time of 14:03.97 at the Payton Jordan Invitational, which is the third fastest time in school history, while Hodapp recorded the second fastest time at the Drake Relays with a time of 14:27.19. McDonnell, Smith, Cookson, Tabb, Roderique and Royer are competing in the event for the first time this season.

Royer and Hodapp are also running in the 10,000-meter run and both runners are competing in the event for the first time this season.

Tulsa has a 4x400-meter relay team and the fastest time this season is 3:10.75, which is the seventh fastest time in the league and the second fastest time in school history. Frazier, Robinson, Ananaba and Jameson were the four runners.

Freshman Paul Akintade is competing in the long jump with his season best performance is 6.51 meters (21-4.25) set in the Michael Johnson Classic is the 37th best performance in the league.

Sophomore Alex Lybarger is competing in three events of the shot put, discus throw and the hammer throw. Lybarger's best performance in the shot put is 16.92 meters (55-6.25), set at the John McDonnell Invitational, is the fourth best in the league, in the discus throw is 38.64 meters (126-9), set in the Tulsa Duels, is the 24th best in the conference and in the hammer throw is 56.34 meters (184-10), set at the John Jacobs Invitational, is the sixth best in the league.

Junior Colt Johnson is competing in the decathlon for the first time this season. Johnson will compete in the 100-meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and the 1,500-meter run.

On the women's side, freshman Lauren Thomas is competing in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. Her best time in the 100-meter dash is 12.31, set at the John McDonnell Invitational, is the 43rd best time in the league, while her best time in the 200-meter dash is 26.07, which was set at the Tulsa Duels.

Seniors Audrey Jean-Baptiste and Katherine Camp are competing in the 400-meter dash as well as sophomore Alex Lyons. Jean-Baptiste has recorded the fourth fastest time in the league with a time of 53.99, which was set in the Michael Johnson Classic, while Camp recorded the 11th best time with a time of 55.21, set at the Arkansas Spring Invitational and Lyons' posted the 47th best time with a time of 58.46 at the Tulsa Duels.

Camp is also competing in the 800-meter run and is looking to defend her outdoor 800 meters title. She has posted the best time in the league by over five seconds with a time of 2:04.89, which is the fastest time in school history, at the Payton Jordan Invitational.

Sophomores Olivia Lopez and Olivia O'Hare and freshman Katie Killeen are running in the 1,500-meter run. Lopez has recorded the 10th best time in the league with a time of 4:34.21 at the Michael Johnson Classic, while O'Hare has posted the 14th best time with a time of 4:37.22 also a the Michael Johnson Classic and Killeen has recorded the 43rd fastest time if 4:49.13 at the Arkansas Twilight.

Freshman Stacie Taylor is competing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and has recorded the ninth fastest time in the league with a time of 11:12.47 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.

The Golden Hurricane has nine runners in the 5,000-meter run with junior Natasha Cockram, sophomore Janessa Dunn, freshman Danielle Medearis, sophomore Emily Dunn, junior Brandi Krieg, freshman Clara Langley, O'Hare, Taylor and Lopez.

Cockram ran the sixth fastest time in the league with a time of 16:49.27 at the Drake Relays, while Janessa Dunn posted the 16th fastest time of 17:33.73 at the Michael Johnson Classic and Madearis recorded the 31st fastest time of 18:09.92 at the Michael Johnson Classic. Emily Dunn, Krieg, Langley, O'Hare, Taylor and Lopez are running in the event for the first time this season.

Janessa Dunn, Cockram and Langley are also running in the 10,000-meter run. Langley has recorded the sixth fastest time in the league with a time of 35:36.42 at the Drake Relays, while Janessa Dunn has recorded the seventh fastest time of 35:55.50 also at the Drake Relays and this will be the first time that Cockram is competing in the event this season.

Freshmen Roos-Sanne Claassen, Cydney Fogle and Kendall Cox are competing in the 400-meter hurdles. Claassen has posted the seventh fastest time in school history with a time of 1:01.24 at the Michael Johnson Classic, which is the third fastest time in school history, while Fogle has recorded the 15th fastest time of 1:02.71 at the Arkansas Twilight and Kendall Cox has posted the 19th fastest time of 1:03.88 at the Arkansas Twilight.

Tulsa has a team running in the 4x400-meter relay and has recorded the 10th fastest time in the league as Claassen, Camp, Jean-Baptiste and Lyons ran a 3:45.37 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.

Junior Hartly Carlisle is competing in the discus throw and has posted the 12th best distance of 45.31 meters (148-8) at the Arkansas Twilight.

Freshman Elizabeth Lothamer is competing in the heptathlon for the first time this season. Lothamer is competing in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200-meter dash, long jump and the javelin throw.
