TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track and field team wrapped up the 2014 season with four NCAA All-Americans Second Team honors in Eugene, Ore., last weekend.

On the men's side, sophomore Bryce Robinson finished 12th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.21 and finished 16th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.97 to earn All-American Second Team honors in both events.

Junior Danny Thater finished 13th overall, eighth in the preliminary round with a time of 8:46.74 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to earn All-American Second Team honors.

 

 

On the women's side, Katherine Camp finished 12th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:05.38 to earn All-American Second Team honors.

Freshman Elijah Silva and senior Julian Frazier on the men's side and senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste on the women's side qualified for the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., at the end of May, but didn't advanced to the NCAA Championships.

Frazier finished 46th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.88, while Silva finished 43rd in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.80. Jean-Baptiste finished 20th in the quarterfinals with a time of 53.98 in the 400-meter dash.

The Golden Hurricane recorded nine top-three finishes in the Conference USA Championships, including Camp's 800-meter run win. Robinson, 200-meter dash, Silva, 800-meter run, Thater, 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000-meter run, were named to the C-USA Second Team on the men's side, while Robinson, 100-meter dash and sophomore Alex Lybarger finished third in the hammer throw, were named to the C-USA Third Team.

On the women's side, Jean-Baptiste, 400-meter dash and freshman Clara Langley, 10,000-meter run were named to the C-USA Second Team.
