MOSCOW, RUSSIA - The University of Tulsa track athlete Chris O' Hare qualified for the finals of the 1,500-meter race at the 14th IAAF World Championships on Friday morning.

The top six runners in both heats qualified for the final round.  O'Hare finished fourth in his heat out of 12 runners with a time of 3:43.58, 0:00.28 behind the first place finisher of his heat.

On Wednesday morning, O'Hare qualified for the semifinals as he finished eighth out of 13 runners in his heat. 

O'Hare returns to the track at 8:25 a.m. (CT) Sunday for the 1,500-meter finals.
