Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Ran in his first three meets for Tulsa . . . finished 13th in his first collegiate race at the Hurricane Festival (21:13) . . . posted a career-best four mile of 20:29 at the Houston Duel to finish 15th . . . placed 188th at the OSU Jamboree with an 8K mark of 27:01.56.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Did not compete for the Golden Hurricane.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner in cross country and track at St. Louis University High School . . . named first-team all-state in cross country by the St. Louis Track Club . . . also an all-state track selection . . . set personal-best times of 15:39 in the 5K (cross country), 9:20 in the 3,200 meters, 4:16 in the 1,600 meters and 1:56 in the 800 meters.
