The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.

Personal Bests 2009: (Cross Country) Ran in six different events . . . Had top-20 finishes in both the Hurricane Festival (15th) and the Missouri State Classic (20th) . . . ended the C-USA Championship in 45th and finished 62nd in the Cowboy Jamboree . . . also competed in the Pre-Nationals. 2008: (Cross Country) Competed in five meets . . . was TU's fourth-finisher at the Conference USA Championships with a time of 18:23, placing 22nd overall . . . ran a personal-record time of 18:00 at the Southern Stampede, finishing in 11th place. 2007: (Cross Country) Competed in four events . . . posted a 17th place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree in her first TU event with a time of 18:45 in the 5K race . . . finished second for Tulsa at Pre-Nationals, posting an 86th place finish with a time of 21:33 in the 6K race, setting a personal record . . . placed 13th at the Conference USA Championships with a time of 18:56 at the 5K course, earning third-team all-C-USA honors . . . was 60th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 21:46 in the 6K race. High School: Was the provincial record-holder for high school senior girls in the 3,000 meters . . . finished first at the senior girls cross country meet at Prince Andrew High School . . . placed second in the under-15 girls 3,000 meters at the National Legions . . . posted personal-bests of 4:43.75 in the 1,500 meters and 10:16.18 in the 3,000 meters. Personal: Majoring in exercise sports science . . . daughter of Robert and Janet Englehutt . . . her brother, Dave, is a member of the University of Maine track team. |
