Andrew Maloney is in his fifth year as an assistant coach with the Tulsa track and field and cross country programs. Maloney spent the previous four seasons as a graduate assistant coach. He helps coach long sprinters, middle-distance athletes and cross country as well as assists in coordinating recruiting efforts and operations.
Maloney, a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, earned his bachelor's degree in management from Saint Francis (PA) in 2005 and received his master's degree in law and business administration from The University of Tulsa in the Spring of 2009.
At Saint Francis, Maloney was a three-time NCAA Regional Qualifier, a four-time All-East Coast performer in the 800m and 4x800m relay, a six-time Northeast Conference Champion and a 12-time All-NEC performer. He was also a member of eight NEC Championship teams and currently holds three individual school records for the 500m, 800m Indoor and 800m Outdoor. In addition, Maloney was a three-time Academic All-America selection.
Maloney is also a Canadian record-holder in the indoor and outdoor 4x800-meter relay and represented Canada in the 800-meters at the 2007 World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
