Andrew Maloney is in his fifth year as an assistant coach with the Tulsa track and field and cross country programs. Maloney spent the previous four seasons as a graduate assistant coach. He helps coach long sprinters, middle-distance athletes and cross country as well as assists in coordinating recruiting efforts and operations.

Maloney, a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, earned his bachelor's degree in management from Saint Francis (PA) in 2005 and received his ­master's degree in law and business administration from The University of Tulsa in the Spring of 2009.

At Saint Francis, Maloney was a three-time NCAA Regional Qualifier, a four-time All-East Coast performer in the 800m and 4x800m relay, a six-time Northeast Conference Champion and a 12-time All-NEC performer. He was also a member of eight NEC Championship teams and currently holds three individual school records for the 500m, 800m Indoor and 800m Outdoor. In addition, Maloney was a three-time Academic All-America selection.

Maloney is also a Canadian record-holder in the indoor and outdoor 4x800-meter relay and represented Canada in the 800-meters at the 2007 World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
