Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Finished fifth overall at the Oral Roberts Duel with a 5K time of 16:51.57.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in three events, highlighted by a season-best finish of 23rd at the Hurricane Festival . . . ran a four-mile time of 21:24 at the season-opening event . . . also competed in the Missouri Stampede and the Chile Pepper Festival . . . finished inside the top five for Tulsa in two of his three events.

FRESHMAN (2009): Did not run in any events and took a redshirt for Tulsa.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner in cross country and a two-year letterwinner in track at Blue Valley Northwest High School . . . a Kansas City Star All-Johnson County cross country honorable mention as a senior . . . a 6A state cross country qualifier in 2008 . . . set personal-best of 17:10 in the 5K (cross country), 4:47 in the 1,600m and 10:15 in the 3,200m.
