Assistant Coach Track/Cross Country

Shameika McField served one year at Tulsa, assisting with the sprinters.

Prior to Tulsa, McField served as a coach's assistant for two years at the University of Kansas. She also held the position of assistant to the director of eligibility for one year. McField's coaching responsibilities at KU included organizing practices and home meets, and assisting with the sprinters and hurdlers. She also assisted in recruiting.

She was a member of the KU Track and Field team for four years. McField was an NCAA Qualifier in the 4x400m relay in June 2003.

McField received two bachelor's degrees from Kansas. She earned one degree in psychology, and her second bachelor's degree in human development and family life, both in May 2003.
