SENIOR (2011): Competed in six meets for Tulsa and qualified as an individual at the NCAA Championship . . . finished 49th at the final race of the season, landing nine spots shy of all-america distinction . . . placed third at both the Conference USA Championship (16:43.6) and the NCAA Midwest Regional (20:54.33) . . . postseason distinctions included being named to the all-C-USA First Team, all-C-USA Academic Team and All-Midwest Region Team . . . won the first two events of the season - the Hurricane Festival and the Houston Duel . . . ran a personal-best two mile of 10:49 against the Cougars . . . placed 11th at NCAA Pre-Nationals (20:59) and finished 13th at the OSU Jamboree (17:46.13) . . . finished first for Tulsa in all six events.
JUNIOR (2010): Ran in six events for the Golden Hurricane and had a breakout campaign, finishing as a member of the All-Midwest Region Team and the all-C-USA First Team . . . was part of the first women's team in school history to compete at the NCAA Championships . . . finished 133rd overall and second on the team at Nationals with a 6K time of 21:38.3 . . . ran a personal-best 6K time of 20:04.55 and finished third overall at the NCAA Midwest Regional . . . the third-place finish at Regionals tied the best finish in school history . . . finished second overall at the C-USA Championship with a career-best 5K time of 16:33 . . . also finished second overall at the Missouri Stampede . . . was named C-USA Athlete of the Week on Oct. 5 after winning individual honors at the Hurricane Festival with a personal-best 2 mile time of 11:02 . . . recorded a 12th-place finish at the highly-competitive Notre Dame Invitational . . . posted top three overall finishes in four events . . . led the Golden Hurricane in four events, while finishing second on the team in the other two . . . was also named Tulsa Student-Athlete of the Week on Sept. 7 and Nov. 1.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Ran in two events and was named to the Conference USA Second Team . . . placed 11th overall and second on the Tulsa squad in the 5K at the C-USA Championship . . . placed 53rd overall and third on the team at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
FRESHMAN (2008): Did not compete in cross country as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner in track, basketball and net ball at Dunstan High School . . . also earned two letters in tennis.
PERSONAL: Majoring in exercise sport science . . . favorite restaurant is the Olive Garden . . . would like to become a physiotherapist . . . craziest ambition is to skydive . . . has an older brother, Christopher, and a younger sister, Rosie . . . daughter of Robin and Heather Whiting . . . born June 14, 1988.
