"We're excited, we're ready to go back to the big dance," Tulsa Head Coach Steve Gulley said. "We still have one more race to evaluate how this season is going to be. We're glad we have that opportunity."
All five TU scorers placed among the top-30 finishers. Marc Scott finished fifth in the 10K race with a time of 30:34.9, while Andrew Heyes followed with a sixth-place time of 30:35.6. "We were off a little bit. We didn't run two of the girls that we ran at the conference (championships). But I was kind of happy. We're still a couple of spots off where we need to be, but I thought they put out a good effort," Gulley said.
