TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa cross country teams are set to open the 2014 season Saturday when they play host to the Hurricane Cross Country Festival beginning at 8 a.m. at Mohawk Park.

The men's four-mile race begins at 8 a.m., followed by the women's two-mile run at 8:35 a.m.

The Golden Hurricane men are ranked No. 18 in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Preseason Poll. TU will run against No. 4 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Arkansas, No. 28 Oklahoma, UL-Monroe and Wichita State.

The Hurricane women's squad will run against No. 7 Arkansas, No. 19 Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Wichita State.
