TULSA, Okla. - The 12th-ranked Tulsa men's cross country team heads to Louisville, Ky., for the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The men's race begins at 12:15 p.m. CT at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.

Information for the NCAA Cross Country Championships can be found at NCAA.com or at http://www.gocards.com/sports/m-xc/spec-rel/lou-meet-central.html.

The Golden Hurricane is ranked No. 12 in the country after finishing third at the Midwest Regional Championships last week. All five TU scorers finished among the top-15 in that meet, and all seven runners placed among the top-31 finishers.

Junior Chris O'Hare won the Midwest Regional individual title, and was named Midwest Region Male Athlete of the Year, while TU Head Coach Steve Gulley was named Midwest Region Coach of the Year after last week's performance.

This season, the TU men have won their third straight Conference USA Championship, taken home the team title at the Notre Dame Invitational in September, and placed seventh at the Pre-Nationals meet in October.
