The Golden Hurricane Club hosted the annual 110% Club Member Appreciation Reception on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Lorton Performance Center. The 110% Club Member Appreciation Reception recognizes the contributions of all members of the 110% Club that go the extra mile for TU Athletics. More than 150 110% Club members had the chance to visit with coaches and student-athletes while enjoying a premium coffee and dessert bar. Track and Field student-athlete, Aaron Thornburg, provided entertainment throughout the evening by playing classical piano, while the Director of the Golden Hurricane Club, Connor Meier, made brief remarks.

Coaches and student-athletes in attendance included:

Women's Rowing: Assistant Coaches Rodney Mott, Taurii Coyne, and Natasha Ostopovich; Student-athletes Emily Farrar, Rachel Perry, and Puja Sztorc

Men's Golf: Head Coach Bill Brogden; Student-athletes Chris Worrell and Mark Mumford

Men's Basketball: Assistant Coaches Shea Seals, Ted Juneau and Justin Bauman; Student-athletes Shaq Harrison, Zeldric King, Rashad Ray, D'Andre Wright, Nick Wood, and James Woodard

Women's Basketball: Assistant Coaches Amanda Randall, Collin Prentiss, and Kelley Waters; Student-athletes Ashley Clark, Kelsee Grovey, Jasmine Vasquez, and Antoinet Webster

Men's Soccer: Head Coach Tom McIntosh; Student-athlete Bradley Bourgeois

Women's Soccer: Head Coach Kyle Cussen; Student-athletes Cammi Pelley, Bradi Hinch, and Hayley Harryman

The 110% Club is made up of our most committed Golden Hurricane Club members, and since 2009, has been responsible for more than $1.2 million in additional annual support to the athletic department and all TU student-athletes.

Any Golden Hurricane Club member who increases their annual contribution to the Golden Hurricane Club by at least 10% from the previous year, or any new member who contributes a minimum of $110, is eligible for membership in the 110% Club.
