TU Lettermen's Association Holds Healthcare Career Night

The TU Lettermen's Association held its second Career Night of the year for all TU student-athletes on Monday, November 5 in the ONEOK Club Level at H.A. Chapman Stadium. Current TU student-athletes were able to hear experiences and advice from former TU student-athletes. Monday's Career Night focused on the healthcare profession which featured five former student-athletes who are currently employed within the healthcare industry.

Jennifer DeSpain (Pharmaceutical Sales; Women's Tennis), Brendon Swisher (Dentistry; Football), Meredith Hart (Athletic Training; Women's Soccer), Sarah (Greene) DeFreitas (Physician Assistant Student; Women's Soccer) and Jennifer Kacergis (Orthopedic Surgery Nurse; Women's Soccer) each shared experiences from their time at TU and the career path they took to get where they are at today.

The TU Lettermen's Association, in conjunction with Golden Hurricane Student Services, holds five career nights over the course of the year to help prepare TU student-athletes for careers after graduation. The next scheduled Career Night is set for February 18, 2013 and will focus on engineering, computer science, and political science.
