Nick Salis Position: Associate AD/Administration & Operations

Nick Salis enters his seventh year working at The University of Tulsa.

Sais was appointed to the position of Associate Athletic Director for Administration and Operations in October, 2011. Prior to his current position, Salis served as Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Event Management from Spring 2009 to Fall 2011. Salis also held the position of Director of Operations from Fall 2007 to Spring 2009.

Among his responsibilities, Salis oversee's operations for home athletic events as well as handling student-athlete housing and serves as the athletic department liaison for human resources. In addition, Salis oversees the Mabee Gymnasium athletic facilities. He also serves on the Sustainability Committee for The University of Tulsa and has sport supervision for the men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's tennis programs.

He spent his first two seasons at Tulsa as a graduate assistant in the men's basketball office (2005-07), where he served as director of player development. He came to Tulsa after spending two seasons as an assistant basketball coach at Cal State-Stanislaus, in Turlock, Calif.

Before that, he spent one year as an assistant coach at Menlo College, and also worked part-time in the Stanford basketball office, assisting with recruiting. While pursuing his bachelor's degree at Purdue, Salis served as the head manager for three years.

He earned his bachelor's degree in History from Purdue in 2002 and his mater's in History at The University of Tulsa in 2007.
