Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

TULSA --In his fourth year on the Tulsa basketball squad . . . a walk-on athlete . . . has played in 33 career games.
2010-11 -- Saw action in six games including against Rice, Marshall, East Carolina, UAB, UTSA and Cal State Northridge . . . played only seven minutes . . . grabbed a rebound against East Carolina.
2009-10 -- Played in 13 games . . . saw just 22 minutes of action . . . had an assist and his first career steal in one minute against Colorado . . . had his first career block against UCF . . . had his first career assist against Nevada . . . connected on 2-of-3 three-pointers for 6 points on the year . . . hit his first career three-pointer against South Alabama and added one rebound . . . hit his second 3-pointer against Jackson State.
2008-09 -- Played in 14 games . . . saw action in just nine minutes . . . saw his first collegiate playing time in one minute vs. North Carolina Central, and scored his first career basket at the 0:02 mark of the game . . . had one rebound against both Rice and Auburn.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Was a four-year letterwinner and four-year starter at Bear Creek High School . . . averaged 13.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior, while leading his team to a 16-7 record . . . earned first-team all-conference accolades and was named Team MVP his senior season . . . scored at a 13.2 clip his junior campaign . . . also lettered four years in soccer and tennis . . . was on the state championship soccer team as a junior . . . high school basketball coach was Scott Moe.
