CAREER AT TULSA -- A returning letterwinner.
2012-13 -- Started all 33 games . . . averaged 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game . . . ranked second in TU history among freshman with 56 steals and 94 assists . . . scored in double figures nine times . . . scored nine points with four assists and seven steals in his first collegiate game vs. LSU Shreveport (11-11) . . . just the fourth player in TU history to tally at least seven steals in a game and the first since Eric Coley (1996-00) had eight steals against Rice on Feb. 14, 2000 . . . scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting with four rebounds, two assists and three steals vs. Jackson State (11-21) . . . led TU to a win over Rice with season-high 14 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists (1-12) . . . matched season high with 14 points, added five assists and four steals at UCF (2-23) . . . tallied eight assists with no turnovers, seven points and seven rebounds vs Tulane (3-2).
HIGH SCHOOL -- Was a three-year letterman and two-year starter at Lees Summit (Mo.) West High School . . . averaged 17.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.2 steals as a senior . . . led his team to a 27-4 record and to the state of Missouri's Class 5 Final Four, only to lose in the semifinals to eventual state champion McCluer North High School . . . was named the Suburban Mid-6 Conference Player of the Year and the Kansas City Star's Metro Player of the Year in his senior season . . . was one of five finalists for the DiRenna Award, which is presented to the top player in the Kansas City-metro area . . . was also selected as the 610 Radio Sports Star of the Year in 2012 as well . . . earned first-team all-state accolades as a senior and was a two-time all-district and all-conference selection . . . also garnered all-tournament team merits at the Ray-Peck Tournament, Culver's Tournament and the William Jewell Holiday Tournament, where he earned MVP honors for two straight years . . . set the single-season steals record at Lees Summit West with 100 steals as a senior . . . finished his career second on the school's career scoring, steals and blocked shots lists, as well as fourth in assists and fifth in rebounding . . . also lettered three years in football, where he was a first-team all-state receiver . . . high school basketball coach was Michael Schieber.
