TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Ben Uzoh scored 17 points and Tulsa players tied a school record with 14 blocks in a 66-43 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday.
Uzoh added three rebounds, three assists and two steals for Tulsa (2-1) and Ray Reese had 12 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Reese and Uzoh led a 14-2 run that widened a 26-24 advantage to 40-26 at the break. Uzoh hit a 3-pointer to make it 32-24 and then closed the half with a corner jumper to give Tulsa control.
LaMarr Drake and Justin Reynolds had 13 points each for the Islanders (1-3), who shot 32 percent for the game and never threatened in the second half.
