Head Coach Doug Wojcik
"It's our fourth-straight loss, and second straight at home. It's a very disappointing night for us, especially after having a 39-31 lead, and a 51-43 lead in the second half. We scored 41 points in the first half, and just couldn't find our way in the second half. Give them credit - they are a very senior team, a very experienced team. I thought we did a great job against them for a long time. We got Garrett Stutz in foul trouble, which is what we wanted to do. We did a pretty good job of containing the ball, particularly in the first half. But at the end of the day, we didn't execute in the last five minutes of the game. We turned the ball over. We did a great job handling the ball for the game, but we turned it over at critical times."
On losing second-half leads...
"We talked about composure. We talked about developing mental toughness. We talked about finishing. I think we play pretty well for 35 minutes, and we're just not playing well for 40. We're not playing well for the last five minutes of a game. We managed the game well. We ran in the locker room at halftime and Tim Peete has one foul and Jordan (Clarkson) has zero. We're down a guard. We take care of the basketball, but we just have to get over that hump. That's from me on down. That's all the way down to everyone in that locker room."
On the matchup zone...
"It's really more of a 2-3 type of zone. I thought the 2-2-1 took us out of rhythm. When we moved the ball against the zone we had good looks, but I really would have to look at the tape. I didn't think we attacked their 2-2-1. We were hesitant and we let them guard us. They were the ones who should have been indecisive because they didn't know who they had. We just didn't attack that."
