Tulsa Postgame Quotes vs. Princeton

Tulsa Head Coach Doug Wojcik
Opening Statement...
"Tough afternoon for TU Basketball. Injuries continue to plague us. Our kids fought back and made two big threes to give us a chance to win the game. We've got to do more of the little things throughout the course of the game to build a lead and then put people away. We did a nice job handling the basketball. We didn't turn it over too much with 50 minutes of playing time. Again, we're not shooting free throws particularly well. Give Princeton credit. They hung in there and found a way to win. We had a tough time guarding Kareem Maddox and Ian Hummer, which we knew about. We talked about it all week. It's just a very disappointing loss."

On the impact of Jordan Clarkson's injury...
"Things changed dramatically. Just like things would change for them if they lost somebody. Just like OSU--if they don't have Moses on Wednesday, and I have Idlet. It changes things dramatically. Then you ask a kid like Shane Heirman to play 30 consecutive minutes almost. I was able to substitute for him a little bit. But he's never done that before. I thought he did a nice job in a tough situation for himself."

Tulsa Forward #11 Steven Idlet
On the game...
"We weren't nearly good enough at all. We've got to grow a lot as a team."

Tulsa Guard #15 Justin Hurtt
On Princeton and Kareem Maddox...
"He's a really good player. He can really drive the ball. He made a lot of good plays for them. We just didn't do a good job of defending him."
