El Paso, Texas - Both Tulsa and Middle Tennessee cruised to victories in quarterfinal action of the Conference USA Championship on Thursday and will face-off on Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm (MT)/3:00 pm (CT) from the Don Haskins Center

The game will be aired live on the CBS Sports Network (Channel 249 in Tulsa) with Dave Ryan and Pete Gillen calling the action.

Tulsa came into the tournament as the No. 2 seeded team, followed by No. 3-seed Middle Tennessee, by virtue of Tulsa's five-point home win, 58-53, over the Blue Raiders on January 23rd. There was a four-way tie for the C-USA regular season title with identical 13-3 records, as LA Tech claimed the No. 1 seed, followed by Tulsa, Middle Tennessee and Southern Miss.

Tulsa (19-12, 13-3 C-USA) advanced to the semifinals with a 70-49 victory over No. 7-seed Tulane in the first game of the day on Thursday. Middle Tennessee (24-8, 13-3 C-USA) claimed a 62-48 win over Old Dominion in the second game of the early session.

In the earlier meeting this season between Tulsa and MTSU, James Woodard had 16 points and Lew Evans added 12. The Blue Raiders' Shawn Jones, the C-USA Player of the Year, had 22 points, nine rebounds and five blocks against the Hurricane in the regular season game.
