Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa will take to the road for its second round NIT game as the Golden Hurricane travels to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers of the Big Ten Conference on Monday, March 19. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (CT) at Williams Arena on the Minnesota campus.

Tulsa, now 22-11 on the season, advanced in the NIT with a first round 75-71 victory over UC Irvine on Monday night in front 5,748 fans at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Minnesota upended Villanova, 87-78, in first round action to improve to 18-13 overall on the year. The Gophers drew 4,529 fans for its first round contest.

The Tulsa-Minnesota winner will play the winner of the Pittsburgh-Mississippi State game in third round action on either March 21, 22 or 23.

There is no television scheduled for the game. The contest can be heard locally on KTBZ Radio AM 1430.
