Tulsa, Okla. - Travel packages are available for fans interested in following The Unversity of Tulsa men's basketball team to New York for the NIT.

Tulsa will play in the semifinals on Tuesday, March 27 against the winner of the Memphis-New Mexico game, while the other semifinal game features Detroit against the winner of tonight's Purdue-Alabama contest. Gametimes for the semifinal round are scheduled for 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. (eastern time).

On Thursday, March 29, the consolation game tips off at 6:00 p.m. with the championship game being played at 9:00 p.m.

The NIT travel package includes round trip airfare, three nights hotel accommodations at Marriott Marquis, airport and game transportation and game tickets. The package price is $1,279 (complete) or $699 (land only) per person based on double occupancy. Fans can call Spears Travel at 254-1608 to make reservations.

For fans not selecting the package, the DoubleTree Guest Suites is offering a special TU rate of $209 per night with a full breakfast. The hotel is located in the Times Square Broadway Theater District only 13 blocks from Madison Square Garden and across the street from the Marriott Marquis.
