Tulsa has suffered just four losses this year, and all four
of those losses have been settled on the last
possession. The Hurricane has lost its four games
by a total of seven points -- one vs. ORU and
two, one and three points against Fresno State.
Against Oral
Roberts, the Hurricane led the entire game until
a three-pointer by Nathan Binam put ORU ahead for
good at the 0:04 mark. In the first meeting
against Fresno State, Demetrius Porter hit a
jumper with 0:07 left in the game to give the
Bulldogs a 75-73 lead, as a Greg Harrington
three-point shot missed at the buzzer for Tulsa.
In the next game
against Fresno State, Courtney Alexander hit a
jumper at the 0:30 mark to give the Bulldogs a
73-72 lead, while a five-foot running jumper by
Greg Harrington and a follow shot by Eric Coley
missed at the buzzer.
In the WAC
Championship Game at Fresno, Calif., FSU took a
73-71 lead on a three-pointer by Terrance
Roberson at the 0:14 mark, and Tulsa cut it two
one-point, 73-72 on 1-of-2 from the free throw
line with 0:05 left, and Courtney Alexander hit
two free throws with 0:04 left to give FSU a
75-72 win.
