Tulsa Basketball Practice Begins Friday

The Tulsa men's basketball team will begin practice Friday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center, nearly two weeks prior to the exhibition opener on Sunday, October 30th. On Tuesday, Head Coach Doug Wojcik was in Dallas, Texas, with the other 11 Conference USA coaches at the FOX Sports Studios for the league's media day. The C-USA television schedule has also been announced. The Hurricane will play on CBS Sports Network four times, Cox Sports TV, Fox Sports Network and CBS once each. Tulsa's non-conference home game against Arizona State on December 3rd kicks off the coverage on CBS Sports Network.
Tulsa's home game against UCF (Jan. 25) and road games at SMU (Jan. 28), UTEP (Feb. 8) and UAB (Feb. 29) will also be televised on CBS Sports Network. Tulsa's road game at Tulane (Feb. 25) will be televised on COX Sports TV. CBS Sports will televise Tulsa's season finale against the Memphis Tigers on Saturday, March 3rd. It is the first time CBS has broadcast from the Donald W. Reynolds Center and also the first Tulsa home game the network has televised since the Nolan Richardson era. Tulsa season tickets are currently on sale starting as low at $160. Tulsa opens the regular season against UALR on November 11th.
