Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

SAN DIEGO - The Tulsa basketball team opens the NUCDF Basketball Challenge at 6:30 p.m. CT Thursday with a contest against Northern Kentucky at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The Golden Hurricane (1-0) is coming off of a 110-54 win over LSU Shreveport on Sunday. The Norse (0-1) fell to San Diego, 65-61, Wednesday in the NUCDF Challenge. It was the first-ever Division I game for NKU.

This will be the first meeting between Tulsa and Northern Kentucky. The broadcast can be heard on KRMG AM 740/102.3 FM or on www.TulsaHurricane.com. Live stats will also be available for the game via GameTracker.

Thursday's contest is the first of three games in three days for the Hurricane. TU will play the host San Diego at 9 p.m. CT Friday, and Cal State Northridge at 7 p.m. CT Saturday.
