TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa basketball team is back in action Saturday as it plays host to Stephen F. Austin at 3:05 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

The Golden Hurricane defeated Jackson State, 86-66, Wednesday to move to 4-1 on the season, while the Lumberjacks are 3-0 on the year with wins over Howard Payne, Florida International and Jarvis Christian.

The contest will be played at 3 p.m. to allow TU fans time to watch the Hurricane football game at SMU. The game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. and is televised on FX, will be shown on the `CaneVision video board and the TV's in the concourse. Reynolds Center doors open at 1:30 p.m.

The basketball game will be live streamed on Hurricane Vision, and broadcast on KRMG AM 740/102.3 FM. Live stats will also be available for the game via GameTracker at www.TulsaHurricane.com.

Tulsa is led in scoring by freshman guard James Woodard, who averages 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Senior guard Scottie Haralson scores 11.4 points, and freshmen D'Andre Wright and Rashad Ray add 9.4 and 9.0 points per contest, respectively. Wright leads the Hurricane with a 5.8 rebounding average, while Ray and Shaquille Harrison average 2.2 assists per game.

The Golden Hurricane averages 82.2 points and 39.6 rebounds per game, and shoots 50 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 76 percent from the free throw line. TU allows 63.8 points and 31.0 rebounds per contest, as well as a .367 field goal percentage and a .340 three-point percentage.

This will be the second meeting between Tulsa and Stephen F. Austin. SFA won the only previous meeting, 82-72, in the Reynolds Center in the opening game of the 2005 season.
