LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - After taking a break from games this week for fall semester final exams, the Tulsa men's basketball team is in Little Rock to take on UALR at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Golden Hurricane (6-3) has won two in a row, while Trojans (7-4) have won three of their last four contests. The game can be heard on KRMG AM 740/102.3 FM, and www.TulsaHurricane.com.

This is the four straight season Tulsa and UALR have played. TU holds a 3-2 edge in the series. Each team has held home court advantage in the series, including a 59-45 victory by the Hurricane in the 2011-12 season opener in Tulsa.

The Golden Hurricane averages 69.2 points and 36.9 rebounds per game, and shoots 47 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line. TU allows 61.4 points and 32.1 rebounds per contest, as well as a .393 field goal percentage and a .310 three-point percentage.

Freshman guard James Woodard leads the active Golden Hurricane players in scoring, averaging 13.8 points, with 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, while shooting 49 percent from the floor. Senior guard Scottie Haralson averages 9.1 points and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. Freshman guard Rashad Ray averages 7.8 points and freshman forward D'Andre Wright scores 8.5 points per game, while Ray adds 1.4 assists per game, and Wright adds 6.0 rebounds. Senior forward Kauri Black puts up 7.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. Junior guard Pat Swilling, Jr., has averaged 8.5 points and 2.5 assists in his two games back on the court.

This is the sixth meeting between Tulsa and UALR. In addition to Tulsa's win last season, TU defeated UALR, 59-45, in Tulsa in 2009, and, 66-60, at home in 2006. The Trojans won, 69-67, in 2010 and, 62-51, in 2007 in Little Rock. The Hurricane has averaged 12.0 margin of victory in each of its three wins, while the Trojans have averaged a 6.5-point margin in their two victories.
