Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Tulsa - A two-year letterwinner . . . enrolled at mid-semester 2010 after completing his prep education at Copperas Cove (Texas) High School . . . has played in 26 career games . . . has tallied 31 tackles in his two seasons . . . 2011 - Played in all 13 games . . . had nine tackles and one fumble recovery . . . collected three tackles against North Texas . . . totaled two stops in the season opener at #1 Oklahoma . . . 2010 - Played in 13 games . . . saw most of his playing time on special teams . . . was credited with 22 tackles and 1.5 stops for -4 yards . . . had a season-high six tackles against Tulane . . . also totaled three stops each against UCA and Rice . . . Overall - Will compete for the starting linebacker spot at MIKE . . . has matured as a football player . . . a very dependable and hard worker . . . a very passionate player . . . possesses good size and speed.
High School - Was a three-year letterwinner at Copperas Cove High School . . . started at linebacker as a junior and senior . . . helped his team post a three-year mark of 32-9, while tallying 258 career tackles . . . had 92 tackles, nine stops for lost yardage and two sacks in six games as a senior . . . missed five games his senior season due to a shoulder injury . . . collected 147 tackles, 18 stops for lost yardage and six sacks in 15 games as a junior . . . earned all-district accolades during his junior season . . . played strong safety and linebacker as a sophomore . . . totaled 19 tackles and 12 stops for lost yardage in his sophomore season . . . also lettered two years in track . . . high school coach was Jack Welch.
