Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Tulsa - A returning letterwinner . . . 2010 - Played in 12 games and had one start as a true freshman . . . missed the Southern Miss contest . . . started his first collegiate game against Rice . . . rushed for 335 yards and three touchdowns on 43 carries for a 7.8 average . . . his three TDs came on runs of 18, 20 and 33 yards . . . totaled 58 yards on eight rushes for a 7.2-yard average at Notre Dame . . . had a season-best 64 yards and one TD against Tulane on five carries . . . also had 60 yards on six carries against UCA . . . totaled a team-high 46 yards and one touchdown on five carries at Memphis . . . had two carries for 20 yards against East Carolina in his first college game . . .
