Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Hurricane football gets 12 signees on defense, seven on offense and two athletes

Was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Broken Arrow High School . . . earned Tulsa World first-team all-metro accolades and second-team all-state honors as a senior . . . named to The Oklahoman's all-state first team his senior season . . . completed his career with 151 tackles . . . was credited with 82 tackles, five sacks and three fumble recoveries his senior season . . . helped lead his Tiger team to the Class 6A state quarterfinals and an overall 8-4 record . . . totaled 19 tackles and two sacks in two playoff games . . . ranked No. 20 on The Oklahoman's "Top 30" list . . . was ESPN's 17th-ranked recruit in the state of Oklahoma . . . high school coach was Steve Spavital . . . chose Tulsa over Air Force, Colorado State, New Mexico and Memphis.
