THIRD YEAR

Bo Graham is in his third season as an assistant coach at The University of Tulsa. He coaches the Hurricane running backs. Graham was a student assistant coach at Tulsa for three years (2003-05) while earning his undergraduate degree at the school.

Under Graham's tutelage, Tarrion Adams became the first running back in school history to total over 2,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in a career. Adams reached 3,000 rushing yards and had back-to-back seasons with 1,000+ rushing yards in 2007 and 2008, while also becoming the school's single-season and career record-holder for rushing.

The 2008 Hurricane finished the season ranked fifth nationally in rushing offense.

In 2007, Graham tutored Rivals.com Freshman All-America second-team selection Charles Clay, who had 1,024 receiving yards and 304 yards on the ground from his fullback position.

In the 2006 campaign, Graham was the coordinator of speed and skill development as an assistant strength and conditioning coordinator at Rice University.

Before that, Graham spent three years (2003-05) as a student assistant coach at Tulsa, assisting in coaching the defensive secondary. During his first stint at Tulsa, the Hurricane made two bowl appearances -- the 2003 Humanitarian Bowl and the 2005 AutoZone Liberty Bowl -- and won the 2005 Conference USA Championship.

In his three years as a student coach, Tulsa's defense ranked among the nation's top-40 in takeaways, interceptions, pass defense efficiency, pass defense and total defense.

Before coming to Tulsa, Graham was a walk-on receiver at West Virginia in 2001. After an injury sidelined him, Graham became a student assistant coach for the Mountaineers in the 2002 campaign. A year later, Graham transferred to Tulsa and continued his coaching career as a student assistant.

Graham earned his bachelor's degree in exercise sports science with a minor in marketing from Tulsa in May 2006.
