Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.
The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.

Tulsa -- Transferred to Tulsa from the University of Nebraska prior to the 2011 season . . . came out of spring practice as the starting quarterback . . . brings a lot of confidence and calmness to the quarterback position . . . has great size and strength . . . possesses a unique skill set.
Previous College - Played in 18 career games and had four starts at Nebraska . . . completed 54-percent of his passes (66-of-122) for 657 yards and five touchdowns in his two seasons . . . threw for 340 yards and three TDs as he completed 33-of-66 passes, while rushing for 96 yards and one touchdown in 2010 . . . received the starting assignment against Iowa State and Colorado in 2010 . . . guided the Huskers to a 31-30 overtime victory against the Cyclones, while completing 7-of-12 passes for 79 yards. Green completed 10-of-13 passes for 80 yards and two scores, while rushing seven times for 23 yards and a touchdown against Colorado . . . started two games as a true freshman in 2009, coming against Baylor and Oklahoma . . . threw for 317 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 158 yards and a pair of scores in those two contests . . . compiled 171 yards of total offense, while completing 12-of-21 passes for 128 yards against Baylor . . . was the first true freshman quarterback to start at Nebraska since Tommie Frazier in 1992.
High School - Led Dayton High School to a 13-2 record and a Class 4A state runner-up finish as a senior . . . amassed nearly 5,000 yards of total offense, throwing for 3,265 yards and 37 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,610 yards and 25 touchdowns his senior season . . . produced more than 1,000 yards passing and nearly 800 rushing yards in six playoff games in leading the Broncos to the state title game as a senior . . . passed for 329 yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for 94 yards in the 4A state title game . . . was named first-team all-area by the Houston Chronicle . . . earned honorable mention Class 4A all-state accolades by the Associated Press his senior season.
