Greg Nation Position: Graduate Assistant

Greg Nation is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Tulsa football program. He will assist with coaching the Hurricane offense.

Nation enters the collegiate coaching level following a successful career as a high school football coach. He spent the past eight seasons as the Head Football Coach at Tulsa's Bishop Kelley High School.

Previously, he held assistant coaching positions at Central Arkansas Christian (1988-89), Tulsa Central (1992-93), Tulsa Edison (1993-94) and Bristow High School (1994-96). Nation also spent the 2000 season as the quarterback coach with the Tulsa Talons of the Arena Football League2.

Nation, 41, earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Henderson State University in 1987. He played quarterback and defensive back in college. Nation is working towards his master's degree in education.

He and his wife, Kimberly, have one son: Trevor.
