Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Tulsa -- A returning letterwinner . . . 2011 - Was one of five true freshmen to play and earn a letter . . . played in 11 games . . . earned Conference USA all-Freshman team accolades . . . did not play in the season opener at #1 Oklahoma and the final game against BYU . . . was credited with 20 tackles, including 10 solos . . . had a career-best nine tackles and 1.5 stops for -3 yards at UTEP in his most playing time in the secondary . . . also registered four solo tackles against North Texas . . . saw his first playing time against Tulane and had 2 tackles . . . also totaled 2 stops at Rice . . . had one tackle and one fumble recovery against SMU . . . Overall - Missed spring drills . . . a very good and fluid athlete . . . possesses good speed and quickness . . . a very aggressive player . . . needs to add size and strength.
High School --Earned first-team Tulsa World all-state and all-metro accolades as a kick return specialist his senior season . . . selected to The Oklahoman honorable mention all-state team as a senior running back . . . helped lead his team to a 10-1 record as a senior . . . rushed for 842 yards, 17 touchdowns and a 7.9 average per carry as a senior . . . caught 11 passes for 233 yards . . . also averaged 25.8 yards and 16 punt returns with two TDs and averaged 26.5 yards on six kick returns his senior campaign . . . on defense, totaled 28 tackles and four interceptions from his cornerback position . . . gained 1,251 yards and 16 touchdowns on 148 carries his junior season . . . rushed for over 200 yards in each of his final five games in 2009 . . . high school coach was Tag Gross.
