Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Tulsa - A returning letterwinner and starter . . . has played in 22 career games and has 20 career starts . . . signed with Tulsa in February 2009, but gray-shirted . . . enrolled at Tulsa for the 2010 spring semester . . . 2011 - Started the first 11 games of the season . . . suffered a season-ending knee injury against UTEP, and missed the next two games against Houston and BYU . . . graded 96-percent vs. North Texas on 51 plays . . . 2010 - Played in 11 games and started nine contests . . . earned Conference USA all-freshman team honors . . . played a total of 825 snaps . . . did not play at Houston and Hawai'i . . . did not start against Notre Dame, but played 56 snaps . . . did not start against UTEP, but played 83 snaps . . . had a high grade of 87-percent at SMU, and a season-best six knockdowns against UCA . . . played in his first collegiate game as a starter against East Carolina in the season opener . . . missed most of the Oklahoma State game after suffering an injury . . .
