Tulsa -- A two-year letterwinner . . . has played in 19 career games . . . came to Tulsa as a walk-on athlete . . . was put on scholarship following the spring of 2011 . . . made the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for three years . . . 2011 - Played in all 13 games and started one game . . . totaled 12 tackles and two stops for -10 yards . . . saw his first career start at defensive end against #4 Boise State . . . tallied three tackles, one stop for -14 yards, one forced fumble and one pass break-up at Rice . . . had his first career sack of -7 yards against UAB . . . 2010 - Saw limited playing time in five games . . . 2009 - Saw his first collegiate playing time against Sam Houston State . . . 2008 - Was one of several freshmen to sit out the 2008 season due to red-shirt status . . . Overall - Came out of spring practice as a starter at defensive end . . . gained good experience last season . . . sound in his assignments . . . an intelligent and disciplined player.
