Former Tulsa quarterback Michael Wall enters his second year as a graduate assistant football coach at his alma mater. He will assist with coaching the offense.
Wall was a four-year lettermen for the Hurricane (1997-00), and had 11 career starting assignments. He had career totals of 2,206 passing yards and 13 touchdowns in 26 games, while completing 55-percent of his passes. In 1999, he started the first six games of his junior season before suffering a knee injury. Wall completed 63-percent of his passes for 819 yards in those six games.
A native of Washington, Pennsylvania, Wall established school records at Trinity High School for single-game, season and career passing yardage, touchdowns, completions and attempts.
Wall, 25, earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from TU in 2001. He is working towards his master’s degree in history.
