Recap |  Final Stats

• Tulsa has now won 7 straight C-USA road games, dating back to Nov. 13, 2010 when Tulsa defeated Houston 28-25. Tulsa won all four C-USA road games last year and the first road contest this year at UAB.

Dwight Dobbins (CB) and Mitchell Osborne (OLB) received their first career starts today.

Alex Singleton scored his 27th career rushing touchdown in the first quarter with a season and career-long 48-yard run for the touchdown.

• Singleton had his 9th career multiple touchdown game and the fourth this season. It is also his fifth career 3-TD rushing game and third this year.

Dwight Dobbins returned a fumble for an 11-yard touchdown. It was his second defensive touchdown of his career. Last year, Dobbins intercepted a pass for a 36-yard TD return.

• The last time Tulsa had a fumble return for a touchdown was on October 15, 2005, a 19-yard fumble return by Bobby Klink.

• Marshall had a defensive PAT for two points after a third quarter Tulsa touchdown. It was the first defensive PAT returned for two points against Tulsa since Nov. 24, 2007 by Rice's Brandon King.

Trey Watts had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It was his second career kickoff return for a touchdown. His previous kickoff return for a TD was 94 yards against UTEP last year.

Trey Watts had his fourth career 100-yard rushing game and the second this year. His previous 100+ rushing game was 125 yards against Iowa State in the season opener.

• Watts also went over 200+ all-purpose yards, marking the second time this year and third time in his career. He had 236 yards at Iowa State this year and 254 all-purpose yards last year at UTEP.

 

 

Cole Way had a career-long 61-yard punt, besting his previous long of 58 earlier this season.
