Tulsa Head Coach Steve Kragthorpe:
"Well the bottom line is we won the football game. We got it done in a not-so-pretty fashion you could say, but like I just told my wife, `I'd rather have ugly wins than pretty losses.' So the bottom line is that's what we came to do. I thought the big stat in the game turnover margin - we didn't turn the ball over and we were able to secure three, so those were the deciding factors in the game¬- the fact that we were able to get some turnovers and that we didn't turn the football over. We made plays when we needed to make plays. The bottom line is we won the football game today, and although it wasn't in pretty fashion, we'll take it.

On his team's resiliency:
"I really like the resiliency of our team today. I think there were some things that went against us, but I always felt like we were always in a good state of mind. We were focused, but we just needed a few things to go our way. We did with the turnovers and obviously the big play to Garrett (Mills) to take the lead was a huge play, especially on a 3rd and16 play. That put us up seven points and were able to hang on.

Tight End Garrett Mills:
On the 66-yard touchdown play-
"We just ran a full vertical play and Paul (Smith) flushed out of the pocket and I was covered pretty well, but I was able to by the coverage and get open."

"There's a lot of things we need to work on. We need to be able to run the ball a lot better, but the bottom line is we scored more points than they did and that's why we won."

"I feel like we are clicking as a team. I feel like both our offense and our defense is playing well. Last year we had some games where one area we were doing well and another area we weren't doing so well. Right now, I think everyone has a whole is playing well and we going to have a lot of momentum going into UTEP."

Defensive Back Bobby Klinck:
On his interception:
"It's something we work on in practice every day and work on with drills. It kind of brought me back to my offensive days with the over-the-shoulder catch almost like a receiver and I'm just glad I finally got a hold of one."

On TU's defensive play on third and short:
We don't like to give up points, regardless, much less touchdowns, so if we are going to give up points, we'd rather give up three points than seven. That's just the resiliency of our defense and that reflects on our coaches. I'm real proud of all the guys on defense."
