Tulsa-UCF Post-Game Notes

Tulsa won the West Division Championship for the fourth time outright since joining Conference USA in 2005.
Tulsa improved to 9-2 and 7-0 in Conference USA. It marks the fifth time since joining C-USA (8 years) that Tulsa has won at least nine games.
Tulsa has now won 18 of their last 19 games in Conference USA.
Tulsa finished the home regular season with a 6-0 record. It marked the 19th time in school history that the Hurricane went undefeated and untied in home games since 1916. (Before 1916, Tulsa had undefeated seasons but only played one or two games at home).
Tulsa's all-time Conference USA record moves to 47-16, including 21-6 against Eastern Division teams.
Eighteen seniors played in their last regular season home game today.
Following Senior Day introductions before the game, senior offensive tackle Brian DeShane proposed to girlfriend Meagan Dickinson. She said yes!
The UCF Knights won the toss, elected to receive and defended the north goal. The Golden Hurricane defended the south end zone.
This is the fifth time Tulsa has scored first this season and the fourth time the points were scored with a field goal.
The 70-yard touchdown pass to Keyarris Garrett was Cody Green's second longest career pass, both were this season and went in for touchdowns. The first was a 76-yard pass to Thomas Roberson against Tulane.
Keyarris Garrett's 70-yard touchdown reception was his career-long. His previous high was 47 yards, not for a touchdown.
Cody Green had his first game with a passing touchdown since Marshall, the sixth game of the season.
This was the second straight week that the Golden Hurricane held its opponent scoreless through the first quarter.
Cody Green's interception, returned by UCF's AJ Bouye, was the third INT returned for a touchdown this season against Tulsa. The other two came against Fresno State.
This was the fifth time Tulsa has trailed at the half this season; Iowa State (24-16), Fresno State (20-17), Rice (21-14) and Arkansas (13-12) were the other four.
Daniel Schwarz set the all-time freshman scoring record for a season. He surpassed David Fuess who scored 73 points in his freshman year in 1986. Schwarz now has 77 points this season.
Senior DeAundre Brown started the game tied for ninth on the all-time for most TFLs in a season at 14 TFLs. After today's game, with 2.5 TFLs for 11 yards he has moved up to be tied for third with James Lockett (2008) 16.5 TFLs.
This was Keyarris Garrett's first three touchdown game this season and was the first three TD reception game for a Hurricane receiver since Brennan Marion had three receiving TDs against UTEP on Oct. 18, 2008.
The blocked extra point by UCF's Jose Jose was the third blocked PAT against Tulsa this year and the blocked field goal by UCF's Cam Henderson was the third blocked FG this season against Tulsa.
With 130 receiving yards, this was Keyarris Garret's second 100+ yard reception game of the season. The other was against Rice when he totaled 118 yards.
This was Cody Green's first career three touchdown passing game.
This is the first time Tulsa has had a receiver with three touchdowns since October 18, 2008 when Brennan Marion caught three against UTEP.
Trey Watts has 122 yards, his third 100+ yard rushing game this year, the fifth of his career.
With 209 total rushing yards, this was the eighth game of the season that Tulsa had 200+ rushing yards.
Tulsa's defense held UCF to 66 rushing yards, 123 yards below the Knights' season average. It marked the fifth time this season that Tulsa held an opponent to below 100 yards rushing.
This was Cody Green's fifth 200+ passing game this season. He threw for 252 yards, which was the second this season behind the Tulane game where he threw for 274 yards.
