Tulsa Arrives in Mobile, Goes Through Two-Hour Workout
Jan. 2, 2009
Mobile, Alabama - Tulsa and Ball State each worked out after their arrivals in Mobile on Friday afternoon. The two teams later met at the Welcome Party at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, 7 pm on Friday night. The weather is expected to be in the low 70s for the next three days, with a chance of rain on Monday. Lower temperatures and a chance of rain on game day exists. The Hurricane comes into the game with a 10-3 record, and is looking for the school's first-ever 11-win season. Ball State established a school record 12-1 mark and enters the game ranked 22nd nationally. "We're really impressed with Ball Sate. They're well-coached and have really, really good players. You've got two explosive offensive teams in this game. We'll need to take care of the football, execute on offense and control their explosive offense to have an opportunity to win this game," said Tulsa Head Coach Todd Graham. The game kicks off on Tuesday, January 6 at 7 pm.
