Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa will have 10 football games televised in the 2013 season, as announced today by the Conference USA office. Tulsa will have five games aired on the Fox Sports Network (FOX), three on the CBS Sports Network (CBS SN) and one each by Cox Sports Television and Comcast Sports Southeast.

Six home games and four road contests are scheduled for television this year. The possibility of television also exists for the Tulsa-Oklahoma football game on September 14.

"We're excited to be able to showcase our football program on national television, and with six home games being televised it gives us an opportunity to highlight the city of Tulsa and our outstanding community. With that said, we hope TU fans, Tulsans and the surrounding areas will team up with us by purchasing season tickets to help create a raucous sellout atmosphere for the upcoming season," said Tulsa Head Coach Bill Blankenship.

Tulsa's home opener on Sept. 7 against Colorado State of the Mountain West Conference is the first televised game of the year for the Hurricane. The contest will be televised on CBS Sports Network at 6:00 pm. Two weeks later, the spotlight will be on the city of Tulsa for a Thursday night rematch of the 2012 AutoZone Liberty Bowl as the Golden Hurricane hosts the Iowa State Cyclones on Sept. 26 at 6:30 pm.

The Hurricane captured the victory at the Liberty Bowl by a score of 31-17. It will be the third time that the two teams have faced each other in the last 15 games, as the Hurricane and Cyclones kicked off the 2012 season in Ames, Iowa with ISU winning 38-23.

Tulsa will have all eight Conference USA games televised beginning with the Rice home game (Oct. 5) on CBS Sports Network at 2:00 pm.

Two road games in the month of October will be televised. The first will be aired on FOX against the UTEP Miners on Oct. 12. Cox Sports Television (CST) will regionally televised Tulsa's visit to New Orleans against the Tulane Green Wave on Oct. 26.

On November 2, Tulsa hosts UTSA on Homecoming Weekend, as the game will be regionally televised on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). Three of the remaining four games will be televised on FOX, including at East Carolina (Nov. 9) and home games against Marshall (Nov. 14) and North Texas (Nov. 30). The Marshall contest will be played Thursday night at H.A. Chapman Stadium beginning at 6:30 pm. Tulsa's road game on Nov. 23 at Louisiana Tech will be carried by CBS Sports Network and aired at 6:00 pm.

Season tickets are currently available online at www.TulsaHurricane.com, by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688) or in person at the TU Athletic Ticket Office. Season ticket prices for all six home games are priced at $78, $150 and $210. The Mazzio's Family Fun Zone ticket package, that includes two adults and two children, are priced at $195.

The 2013 football season marks the third year of a multi-platform media rights agreement between Conference USA and FOX Sports Media Group broadcasting a minimum of 20 games. This season, FOX Sports 1, FOX's new national sports cable network launching this August, is scheduled to televise a minimum of 10 regular-season Conference USA football games. Additional games will again be carried nationally on FOX Sports Networks owned-and-affiliated regional networks which reach more than 85 million homes and FOX College Sports.

This season marks the ninth year of C-USA's partnership with CBS Sports Network that includes significant national and regional exposure for football, men's and women's basketball and other C-USA sports.
