Tulsa, Oklahoma - Ross Parmley, director of football operations at The University of Tulsa, was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Football Operations, it was announced today by TU's Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham.

Parmley came to Tulsa after spending the previous three years as the Director of Athletics for the Norman Public Schools, where he supervised over 65 athletic programs and 200 coaching positions.

Before that, Parmley was a coach and teacher at Ardmore Public Schools.

He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Cameron University in 1996, and a master's degree in sports management from Oklahoma in 2002.

"This promotion is well-deserved. Ross has done a tremendous job with our football program in his tenure at Tulsa and will be given additional responsibilities within the department," said Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham.
