TULSA-BOWLING GREEN GAME PICKED UP BY ESPN U

Cleveland, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced today that the Bowling Green home opener against The University of Tulsa on Thursday night, August 29th has been picked up for national television by ESPN U.
The game will begin at 7:00 pm (ET)/6:00 pm (CT).
This is the fourth meeting in the series and the first in Bowling Green, Ohio as Tulsa leads the series 3-0. The last meeting came in the 2010 season when Tulsa claimed a 33-20 home victory. The other meetings saw Tulsa capture a 63-7 win in the GMAC Bowl in the final game of the 2007 season and a 45-10 victory at Skelly Field in the first meeting between the two schools on November 18, 1989.
With this game chosen for television that will give Tulsa all 12 games televised for the Hurricane this season. Five games will be televised on the FOX Sports Network, three on CBS Sports Network and one each on ESPN U, Comcast Sports and Cox Sports Television. There has been no network listed yet for the Tulsa-Oklahoma game.
