Tulsa, Oklahoma - For the 12th consecutive year the Tulsa football coaching staff conducted Football 101 for Women on Thursday night at the Case Athletic Center on the TU campus. Over 125 women of all ages attended the event that saw Tulsa coaches exhibit offensive and defensive techniques from the simplest of terms to more advanced.

"This is always a fun event for our coaching staff. I hope that the women had as much fun and were able to learn a little something different about the game of football," said Head Coach Bill Blankenship.

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Feed My Starving Children.

Tulsa kicks off the 2014 season on Thursday, August 28th at 7:00 pm against the Tulane Green Wave. It is the first-ever American Athletic Conference game for both teams.

Season tickets beginning at $140 are available online at www.TulsaHurricane.com or by calling 918.631.GoTU. Mazzio's Family Fun Zone tickets, for 2 adults and 2 youth, are priced at $460 for the entire six-game season. Family Fun Zone season tickets, excluding the Oklahoma game, can be purchased for $160. Three-game mini-pak plans are also available that feature the OU, Texas State and East Carolina games.
