Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team went through practice No. 14 on the grass of Harwell Field Thursday morning for another 150-minute practice session.

"We started out really good. There was great energy with our competitive part of practice and even into special teams. Somewhere about the last 30-40 minutes we really hit a wall both on offense and defense. We did not fight through the heat very well at the end and had a lot of mental mistakes," Blankenship said.

It's that's time in preseason workouts where we have to fight through the mental grind and we didn't do very good at the end. I thought we practiced well in the beginning, but didn't finish very well today," added Blankenship.

Tulsa will be back on the practice field Friday morning.
