Tulsa Punter Michael Such Named C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week

Irving, Texas - The University of Tulsa's Michael Such was named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced today by the C-USA office. It's the second consecutive week that the Hurricane had the league's special teams player of the week. Last week, return specialist Damaris Johnson won the honor.
Such punted a career-high six times for a 48.7-yard average in Tulsa's 44-10 win over New Mexico on Saturday. Four of his six punts went for 50 yards or longer, and two went inside the 20-yard line. New Mexico finished with just seven punt return yards in the game.
A junior from Allen, Texas, Such now ranks second nationally in punting with an average of 48.2 yards per punt.
Houston junior quarterback Case Keenum was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, while defensive honors went to Houston's Jamal Robinson.
